Kinect SDK for PC Official.
Unlike Sony, Microsoft is encouraging its hackers by officially allowing them to hack. By far all the hackers are only able to use its motion sensing abilities for different purposes see my previous post Kinect Hacks. But this SDK allows the hackers to use the voice recognition and other capabilities to their full extent and make more wonderful hacks with Kinect.Wonderful Concept Phone
Here is a real example of creativity,innovation,design.................. I believe the industry has the tools to make it possible and it should take creative ideas like this
Nvidia announced "Quad-core" for Tablets
Nvidia has recently announced the tegra 2 processor which is the first dual core processor for tablets. Tablets using tegra 2 are still new on the market. Nvidia took it a step further by announcing the tegra 3 processors which will also become the first quad core processors . Tegra 3 has double the processing capacity and triple the graphic processing than tegra 2 and it is also power efficient.It can run 12 hours of HD video under standard settings. Nvidia promises it in tablets by august and mobile devices by december.Nvidia has also shown the processors power live here are the video's

Apple Playing Rough
Apple being the major competitor of the touch devices over the world is now consuming over 60% of the total touch pads production making it difficult for other companies to satisfy the demand in market. Apple has made a deal with Samsung worth ₨177.53 billion on Jan 18th now it has raised the deal to ₨355.06 on 14 th Feb .The deal consists of displays, applications processors, and NAND flash chips for apple products. This strategic move helps apple to meet its demand for ipads in 2011 leaving all the other manufacturers behind. We should see how far will apple go with this strategy in Q1 of 2011

Fake ipods caught in LA,Downtown
These ipods are really convincing for the normal eye .They look and act like one of the legitimate apple products but when it is paired with itunes the difference shows.Any customer who bought this will only find out he is robbed when he reaches home.. But LA poilce have successfuly found the warehose and taken two people into custody.These products are all shipped into us as spare parts and then assembled.The total cost of this shipment is about $10 milion.Police also found $1.4 million worth stolen electronics and toys worth $2.5 million .They also fund evidence of $7 million profit on this business.How far will apple go??
Apple company has sent its big lawsits to a normal person . What was his crime??- He made some vegetable cutting boards taking th inspiration of ipad. Apple thought that there were some likeliness issues so the lawsuits ordered the poor man to stop producing them. Interesting fact is that the no of boards sold were "zero". He just gave some to his friends.Does apple have any self respect.......!!!!! shame on your part apple.
Symbian's Death
Nokia has tied up with Microsoft to fight android and apple. Nokia will be saying good bye to their proprietary OS Symbian by replacing it with the windows phone 7 OS .Microsoft has given the liberty to customize everything on their OS but Nokia decided to go with the default. By hearing this news over 1500+ developers of Symbian OS who have spent hundreds of hours is developing the OS have walked out of the office in order to show a non-violent protest against Nokia's decision. Industry experts are saying that next year life support will be taken off to Symbian.Internet is Full !!!
The Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) assigned the last IPv4 addresses to the five regions of the world's Regional Internet Registries.This represents a milestone for the beginning of the end of IPv4,
IPv4 networks will continue to run as they have before. In fact, according to Google, a mere 0.2 percent of all Internet users worldwide rely on IPv6 connections as IPv4 addresses are used up this year.
I you are using windows 7 or vista then dont worry but If you run Windows XP, though, it is necessary to make a minor configuration to the operating system by typing "netsh int ipv6 install" in the Windows command prompt to access IPv6 sites.
Ubuntu users may have some troubles but the will get through anyway.
A major test of how well the world's Internet users are ready for IPv6 will take place on June 8. That's when Akamai, Facebook, Google, Limelight Networks, and Yahoo will run on IPv6 connections for 24 hours. But despite the millions of users of Windows XP as well as Linux around the world likely won't configure their operating system for the June 8 test day, Google says they needn't worry, and it maintains that 99.95 percent of its users will not even notice the switch that day.
Android The most loved smartphone OS.
Apparently the search engine giant Google is going after everything and is succeeding. In the sales of all the smartphones in the fourth quarter of 2010 Android based phones topped the list.Total number of android based phones shipped are about 32.9 million surpassing the Nokia Symbian OS .The main advantage of android is -it is open source. Because of this the no of apps for the platform are growing enormously and Google still is hiring developers to develop new apps targeting the tablets.iPhone is lagging behind both Symbian and android with 16.7 million.The windows phone has taken a downfall to 3.1 million to previous quarters 3.9 million.

Facebook awarded ₨16,526.82 million damages against spammer
A person named Philip Porembski is running a firm called PP Web Services.He has the passwords of over 116,000 facebook accounts and sent over 7.2 million spam messages. what he basically does is spam people with links that are similar to the facebook logins
that we see around the internet but he takes our passsword from that login page and spam your friends with the same link.The other thing he does is also spamming but with links of pages who in turn will pay him for the no of clicks they get. Due to this 4500 people have deleted their accounts. About 8000 complaints have been filed.So beware facebook users(including myself).
Everybody is making Profit.
The end of 2010 also marked the end of Q4( fourth quarter ) of 2010 and companies started revealing their sales figures for this quarter. Guess what?? everybody are earning profits .Here are sales figures of some reputed companies:-
- Microsoft Sold 8 Million Kinect In 2 months of its release
- Microsoft Q4 up 48% on Windows 7, Office 2010 sales
- Samsung sold more than 2 million Galaxy Tabs in its first three months on the market
- 7.3 million iPad Apple sold last quarter.
- Nvidia reported revenue of million for the fourth quarter
- Mobile phone maker Sony Ericsson has returned to a profit of 8 million euros
- Apple sold 14.1 million iPhones in Q4

Android expanding to tablets.
Android has released the Android 3.0 aka Honeycomb OS SDK for developers which is designed for tablet PC. This release is to ensure that when tablets supporting this os when come into the market have sufficient apps on the platform that works as the developer intended to. As we all know that android is already challenging the iOS and the windows 7 for mobile platform. This release is to compete with the ipad. I am beginning to see the future in opensource.Sony released its PSP-2 aka "NGP".
Finally after the heaps of rumors of how the psp-2 is going to be and some fake photos, Sony has launched its NGP (Next Generation Portable) in Tokyo.It is really next generation it is the first device to have a quad-core processor supports 3g for mobile online gaming on the go.It also supports wi-fi and GPS. It has the dual analog sticks like the play station controller. It has tons of features based on 3g and gps. It also features motion censors and dual camera(front and back). This also has a back touchpad along with the led touch screen.Now I think NGP means Nintendo Got Pwned Bcoz nintendos 3d gaming console launched previously this month is nothing compared to this.
Gaming Can change the world.
As per Jane McGongial who is a game developer games make people better. You may be thinking how people who waste valuable time on useless things like games can change the world?.Yes the games do not add a credit to your career but it makes you a good person by teaching you how to make good decisions.
While playing games people think nothing is impossible.They dont give up by one or two defeats they will try until the mission or challenge is completed.The same should be implemented in real life that is the challenge. Here are some stats that blow your mind:-total play time of all the players of world of warcraft is over 50 billion hours and halo 3 players have 10 billion kills in total. I have given only an example of two games you can imagine the rest.
As a famous writer said if a person does any work for 10000 hours he will be a master of it. so if we find a way to convert this game awesomeness to do productive work then the gamers can change the world.

Windows Phone 7 Hacker Gets a free Phone,T-shirt.
i think microsoft is cleverer than its competitors apple and sony.the hackers of the windows phone 7 have been awarded with a free phone and a t-shirt as a reward for successfully hacking the phone and being a part of their new team. In the past some people hacked the ps3 and the iphone but the companies tried to sue them for that, but microsoft on the other hand is trying to know their faults and trying to reduce them in future releases. "well done microsoft". Really i have been thinking about this since a long time if a guy can hack that thing then he knows your defects. Dont try to kill him with your law suits, get him and fix the defect, for gods sake!!!What do you think??
